Battling Tough Spyware Applications on Your Computer

Spyware intruders are so cunning that they can load spyware applications in new ways even when the computer is in safe mode. This persistent nature of spyware makes the program more difficult to remove as it cannot be removed while it is running.

As a result of these new methods of intrusion, when users enter Safe Mode to remove spyware applications, they find it intimidating and safe to not run because the spy program installed itself as a critical object. I've noticed that it even runs in mode.

CoolWebSearch bar, Huntbar and VX2 spyware programs have developed this technique and users do not know how to remove it. Windows 98 and Windows ME computers can run a command line scanner that boots to DOS and scans your hard drive for files. Windows XP users can't read files in DOS, but can use Bart's PE.

Bart's PE is a stripped-down version of XP and runs from a CD. Barts PE's user interface features graphics with the option to scan your entire computer, ensuring no stubborn spyware is running.
