Blogging, like any form of writing, is an art form that requires knowledge and practice to work well.
Write...Blog...Blogs are online diaries where people express themselves through writing. Writing… Writing is the process of writing down the words of a language in a form that others can read. The process didn't take long, to use one of my writing teacher's favorite sayings: "Writing exists only one day in the year that mankind has existed." Thinking is much easier than writing. These processes flow naturally like rivers of consciousness. Sometimes you have to think very little about doing them.
Anyone can write on paper, but that doesn't mean it's good writing. Like most things in life, our society has already taken writing for granted, but it is because of our ignorance. We need to think about this art in a simpler and clearer way if we want to do it in a way that can be connected with the idea of Okay, this was a pretty long paragraph. I bet you're wondering if I need to say as much about the best ways to blog on the web as I do in this article. I didn't mention this main idea, but that's what the introductory paragraph is for. This is a common mistake on many blogs.
Trying to convey too many ideas in one paragraph, sometimes one sentence. The key, as with all things in life, is to keep it simple. Simplicity means that readers are not confused about what the journal entry is actually about. Start by introducing the main overall topic, then use the subsequent paragraphs to discuss individual ideas related to that topic. Try to summarize all of your closing paragraphs, main arguments, and why you wrote them in the first place. Grammar and sentence structure is not an easy system to learn.
Especially if you come from a school system that spent more time teaching historical battles and quadratic equations than reading and writing. This is a serious problem. We can easily convey a message by speaking, but if we write the words on paper, what is written is not interesting and does not lead to people's curiosity and attraction. As you write, don't talk to your close friends. You cannot use slang or slang that only your local community understands. Your goal is to connect everyone in the world, so make it very clear and fun to read.
Your computer has a spell checker, a grammar checker, and access to a thesaurus. Use them, but remember that machines can't decipher all complex languages. Language is a world unto itself, much of its realm undiscovered by the masses. So again, keep it simple. Short, concise sentences containing a single idea are great.
Many words in English have the same meaning (synonyms). Use a thesaurus to avoid repeating the same words throughout your text. Keep your story fresh and keep your readers engaged. Nothing is more boring than repetition. Using different words can be a great fun and learning experience. Always use a dictionary (even on your computer/internet) for full definition of words.
Readability... Simplicity... Make your blog accessible to everyone.
