1. Let the PC fully boot before opening the application.
2. Refresh the desktop after closing the application. This will remove all unused files from RAM.
3. Do not set images with very large file sizes as wallpaper. If your PC has low RAM (less than 64MB), don't keep wallpaper at all.
4. Don't overload your desktop with too many shortcuts. Each shortcut on the desktop consumes up to 500 bytes of RAM
5. Empty the Recycle Bin regularly. Emptying the Recycle Bin actually deletes files from your hard drive.
6. Delete temporary Internet files regularly.
7. He defrags the hard drive once every two months. This frees up a lot of space on your hard drive and rearranges files so your applications run faster.
8. Always create two partitions on your hard disk. Install all major software (PSP, Photoshop, 3DS Max, etc.) on the second partition. When your computer's RAM is full, Windows uses all available free space on your C drive as virtual memory. Make your C drive as empty as possible.
9. Disable the system tray icon option when installing new software. System tray icons eat up available RAM and slow down your PC's boot time. Also uncheck the option to start the application automatically when the PC starts. These options can also be disabled later from the application's Tools or Settings menu.
10 Protect your computer from dust. The dust causes the CPU fan to stop and slow down, causing the CPU to heat up gradually and affect the processing speed. Use compressed air to blow dust off the CPU. Never use a vacuum.
RAM is the CPU's working area (desktop). Empty and clean as much as possible.
